Services
Software, engineered end to end.
From the first workshop to years of support, we design, build and look after digital products for Australian organisations. Six disciplines, one senior team, and a single point of contact.
01
Custom Software Development
Software shaped around how your organisation actually works. We build internal platforms, customer portals and the systems that connect them, designed to be maintained for years, not just launched.
Typical deliverables
- Discovery and technical specification
- Architecture and data model design
- Production-ready application with automated tests
- Integrations with your existing systems and APIs
- Documentation and handover to your team
Who it suits
Organisations that have outgrown spreadsheets or off-the-shelf tools, and teams replacing a system that holds them back.
Technologies
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- Python
- .NET
- PostgreSQL
- REST and GraphQL APIs
02
Web & Mobile Applications
Fast, accessible web apps and native-feeling mobile apps for iOS and Android. One product team works across every platform, so features ship together and behave the same everywhere.
Typical deliverables
- Responsive web applications
- iOS and Android apps from a shared codebase
- App Store and Google Play submission
- Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA
- Analytics and performance monitoring
Who it suits
Startups taking a product to market, and businesses giving their customers a better way to buy, book or help themselves.
Technologies
- React
- Next.js
- React Native
- Expo
- Swift
- Kotlin
03
Cloud & DevOps
Infrastructure you can understand and afford. We design, migrate and automate cloud environments so releases are routine and outages are rare, with your data hosted where you need it, including Australian regions.
Typical deliverables
- Cloud architecture and cost review
- Infrastructure as code
- CI/CD pipelines with automated testing
- Monitoring, logging and alerting
- Backup, recovery and incident runbooks
Who it suits
Teams with manual deployments, rising cloud bills, or uncertainty about where their data actually lives.
Technologies
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- GitHub Actions
04
AI & Intelligent Automation
Practical AI that earns its place. We find the repetitive, document-heavy or decision-support work where machine learning and large language models genuinely help, then build it with guardrails, evaluation and human review.
Typical deliverables
- Opportunity assessment and feasibility prototype
- AI assistants and document processing
- Workflow automation and system integrations
- Evaluation, monitoring and cost controls
- Privacy review of every data flow
Who it suits
Operations teams buried in manual processing, and businesses that want AI features without exposing customer data.
Technologies
- Python
- LLM APIs
- Retrieval-augmented generation
- Vector databases
- Workflow automation
05
UI/UX & Product Design
Design that starts with the people using it. We research, prototype and test before we build, so your product is clear, accessible and consistent from its first release.
Typical deliverables
- User research and journey mapping
- Wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Visual design and design systems
- Usability testing
- Developer-ready specifications
Who it suits
New products that need validating, and existing ones that confuse users or look dated.
Technologies
- Figma
- Design systems
- Interactive prototyping
- Usability testing
- WCAG 2.2
06
Support, Maintenance & Modernisation
Keep what works, fix what doesn’t, and modernise the rest. We take over existing systems, stabilise them, and move legacy code forward one safe step at a time, without a risky big-bang rewrite.
Typical deliverables
- Codebase, infrastructure and security audit
- Ongoing maintenance and dependency updates
- Performance and reliability improvements
- Incremental migration from legacy platforms
- Agreed response times for issues
Who it suits
Businesses relying on ageing software, or whose original developer has moved on.
Technologies
- Code audits
- Automated testing
- Dependency management
- Observability
- Incremental migration
FAQ
Questions we’re often asked.
It depends on scope, but you’ll always get a clear estimate before any work starts. Smaller engagements, such as discovery workshops and code audits, are fixed price. Larger builds are either fixed scope or billed per sprint, and we’ll recommend whichever suits your situation.
A focused first release typically takes 8 to 16 weeks, depending on complexity and integrations. We’ll give you a realistic timeline after discovery and keep it updated as we learn more.
You do. The code, designs and intellectual property we create for you are assigned to you on payment, and everything lives in repositories and accounts that you control.
Wherever your obligations require. We can host in Australian cloud regions, such as AWS Sydney and Melbourne or Azure Australia East, and we document where every piece of data lives.
Yes. We can lead a project end to end, or embed with your developers, designers and product owners and work in your tools.
Yes. We start with an audit of the codebase, infrastructure and security, then agree a plan to stabilise it before adding anything new.
We’re based in Melbourne and work with clients across Australia. We keep AEST/AEDT hours and travel for workshops when it’s worth it.
Security is part of how we build, not an add-on. Our practices are informed by the ACSC Essential Eight, and we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
